Units & Chrono Tokens Economy Explained

Marvel Rivals gives you all playable heroes for free. You only spend currency on fun items like skins, emotes, and nameplates. Knowing what each currency does will help you spend wisely.

Chrono Tokens vs. Units Breakdown

Units buy individual items in the store, like outfits, voice lines, and emotes. Chrono Tokens work only on your Battle Pass. Using Chrono Tokens skips match grinding and helps you unlock top tier rewards before the season ends.

Ways to Earn More Free Units and Tokens

Besides entering promo codes, you can earn lots of free Units by playing daily matches. Here are three fast ways to build up your Units balance:

• Daily Mission Cards: Log in each day and finish your three daily goals. These tasks take about twenty minutes and give up to one hundred Units.
• Weekly Hero Goals: Win five matches with each hero role (Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist) to earn up to three hundred extra Units each week.
• Ranked Season End Rewards: Climb the competitive ranks from Bronze up to Grandmaster. At the end of each season, you get a big payout of free Units and exclusive nameplates based on your final tier.

Team-Up Synergy & Hero Mechanics Overview

Marvel Rivals is special because of its Team-Up powers. When certain heroes stand together on the map, they unlock new paired moves that help win tough fights.

• Magneto & Scarlet Witch: Magneto can take magic from Wanda to make his sword glow with purple energy. His strikes slice right through enemy shields.
• Hulk & Iron Man: Hulk can send green gamma energy into Tony Stark's suit. This makes Iron Man's laser blasts hit with massive splash damage.
• Rocket Raccoon & The Punisher: Rocket drops ammo packs that give Frank Castle infinite bullets and super fast fire rates for ten seconds.
• Doctor Strange & Portals: Strange can open portals behind enemy lines. His team can walk through to take high ground in an instant.
• Storm & Thor: Thor grants Storm chain lightning sparks on her basic wind attacks, while Storm gives Thor a rush of gale wind speed.
• Luna Snow & Namor: Luna creates icy ground for team speed, while Namor gets icy trident strikes that slow enemy tanks.

Resolving Redemption Glitches & Errors

If your code shows an error, check these easy fixes:

• Use Capital Letters: Every code must be typed in all caps. Small letters will cause an invalid code message.
• Check for Spaces: Make sure there is no empty space at the start or end of your pasted code.
• One Use Only: You can only use each code once per NetEase account. If you used it before, it will not work again.
• Account Link Check: Make sure your console profile is linked to your NetEase account so your rewards show up on all systems.
