Official Step-by-Step Redemption Methods

Players can claim vouchers through the official web portal or directly in-game using the Phone Menu interface:

Method 1: Official Web Browser Portal (Universal)

This method is recommended for players on all platforms and is required for iOS users:

1. Visit the official gift redemption portal at hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift on your computer or mobile device.
2. Sign in with your registered HoYoverse Account.
3. Select your operational server region (America, Europe, Asia, or TW/HK/MO). Your character nickname will automatically display in the verification field.
4. Paste the voucher code into the input field and click "Redeem".
5. Launch the game, open the Phone Menu, tap the envelope icon for your Mailbox, and claim your Stellar Jades.

Method 2: In-Game Phone Menu Redemption (PC & Android)

If you are playing on PC or Android, you can redeem codes without closing your game session:

1. Open the main Phone Menu by pressing Esc on PC or tapping the phone icon in the top-left corner on mobile devices.
2. Locate your profile card area near the top of the screen next to your Trailblazer avatar.
3. Click or tap the three small dots (...) icon situated next to your character name.
4. Select "Redemption Code" from the dropdown options.
5. Paste your code into the text prompt, click Confirm, and navigate to your Mailbox to retrieve the attachments.

Prologue Mission Unlock & Mailbox System Guide

Unlike some titles that permit instant voucher claims upon account creation, Honkai: Star Rail requires players to complete an introductory portion of the storyline before the redemption and mailbox interfaces become accessible.

To unlock code redemption, you must complete the Trailblaze Mission titled "A Moment of Peace" aboard the Herta Space Station. During this mission, you interact with Asta and Arlan, learn turn-based combat mechanics, and awaken your core Stellaron abilities. Completing this introductory sequence unlocks your phone terminal, friend list, and postal mailbox. The entire process takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes of natural story progression.

Important Note for Apple iOS Users: Due to App Store digital purchasing policies, HoYoverse omits the in-game "Redemption Code" button on iPhone and iPad builds. If you play exclusively on iOS hardware, you can redeem every active voucher using Method 1 via the official browser portal. Your claimed rewards will arrive in your iOS mailbox without issue.

Warp Economy, Pity Mechanics & Fuel Energy Management

In Honkai: Star Rail, every 160 Stellar Jades can be converted into a Star Rail Special Pass for character event warps. Understanding the game's gacha mathematics ensures you make optimal investment decisions:

Warp Pity Rules: The character event warp features a 90-pull hard pity ceiling, with soft pity increasing pull probabilities starting at 74 pulls. The 50/50 system applies to your initial five-star drop: you have a 50% chance of pulling the featured rate-up character and a 50% chance of receiving a standard five-star character (such as Bronya, Gepard, or Himeko). If an off-banner character appears, your next five-star character is 100% guaranteed to be the featured character.

Fuel Optimization Strategy: Promo codes frequently grant Fuel canisters (which restore 60 Trailblaze Power each). Avoid spending Fuel during early Trailblaze Levels when farming yields low-rarity relics. Instead, hoard your Fuel canisters until you achieve Trailblaze Level 60 (Equilibrium Level 5), which guarantees two 5-star Relics per Cavern of Corrosion run, multiplying the return on your saved energy.

Historical Expired Codes Archive

Version livestream codes and collaboration vouchers feature finite activation windows. The table below lists historical codes that have officially concluded their promotional runs:

Common Redemption Errors & Diagnostic Solutions

If you run into issues while claiming your rewards, check these quick solutions:

• "Character Not Found": Confirm that you chose the correct regional server on the website. If your save is on the America server, selecting Europe will fail to locate your character.
• "Code Has Already Been Redeemed": Each promotional code can only be claimed once per character. If you redeemed STARRAILGIFT previously, entering it again will display this message.
• "Invalid Code Format": Verify that you have copied the code without leading or trailing spaces. Characters like the number zero (0) and capital letter O can easily be confused when typed manually.
• "Mailbox Capacity Alert": If your mailbox contains dozens of unread system messages, clear out older letters to ensure new reward dispatches appear properly.
• "30-Day Expiration Rule": System mail attachments expire 30 days after being delivered. Make sure to claim your items from the mailbox promptly.

Special Program Livestream Drops & Timing Windows

Every six weeks, HoYoverse hosts a live Special Program broadcast detailing the upcoming version update, new five-star characters, storyline chapters, and planetary destinations. Throughout the broadcast, the hosts reveal three promotional codes worth 100 Stellar Jades each, providing a total of 300 free Stellar Jades plus character ascension materials.

Strict 24-Hour Expiration: Livestream codes expire approximately 24 hours after the broadcast begins. Because of this short window, we monitor every developer stream live and update our tables immediately so you never miss a drop.

Embers Exchange, Undying Starlight & Monthly Warp Pass Recycling

Maximizing your promotional return in Honkai: Star Rail involves recycling warp residue through the Astral Express store. Whenever you spend code-funded Stellar Jades on Star Rail Special Passes, each pull yields auxiliary currencies: 3-star Light Cones provide 20 Undying Embers, while 4-star and 5-star pulls award Undying Starlight.

Navigating the monthly shop rotation strategically creates a compounding loop of free summons:

• Monthly Embers Reset: On the first day of every month, the Embers Exchange store refreshes with 5 discounted Star Rail Special Passes and 5 Star Rail Passes (90 Undying Embers each). Maintaining a reserve of Embers from code redemption pulls ensures you consistently collect all 10 monthly passes.
• Undying Starlight Light Cones: Undying Starlight can be saved (600 Starlight) to purchase signature five-star Light Cones from the standard roster (such as Bronya's "But the Battle Isn't Over" or Gepard's "Moment of Victory") without relying on gacha randomness.
• Resource Priority Hierarchy: Never exchange Undying Embers for common credits or basic character EXP items unless you have already cleared out the monthly passes, Tracks of Destiny, and weekly custom assignment resources.

Coupling your monthly Embers passes with regular event codes provides between 12 and 18 additional summons per patch cycle, ensuring your account remains equipped with optimal Light Cones and Eidolons to conquer endgame Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow rotations.
