Combat takes place on an 8x8 battlefield composed of four elemental tile colors:

• Water (Blue): Specialized in crowd control, tile conversion, and multi-hit area bombardment.
• Fire (Red): Delivers extreme burst damage, burn status effects, and wide diagonal area cleaves.
• Forest (Green): Excels at mobility, teleportation skills, and continuous chain attacks.
• Thunder (Yellow): Focuses on critical hit scaling, chain lightning, and defense reduction debuffs.

During your turn, you trace a continuous unbroken line across adjacent tiles sharing the same element. Aurorians belonging to that element follow your path, executing basic attacks on adjacent Eclipsite monsters. When your path reaches specific tile length thresholds, Aurorians unleash powerful Chain Combos that strike across entire rows, columns, or surrounding clusters. Reaching fifteen tiles in a single chain triggers Aurora Time, resetting the board and awarding an immediate bonus action phase.
