Age of Mythology Cheats PC (God Powers & Units)

In-Game Chat Console Activation

Activating cheat directives in Age of Mythology requires no external third-party software or file modifications. The native game engine incorporates a direct chat command listener for single-player play:

1. Step 1: Launch Single-Player Match: Start a campaign scenario, custom skirmish, or historical battle from the main menu.
2. Step 2: Open Chat Dialogue Box: Press the Enter key on your keyboard. An in-game text prompt appears at the bottom-left of the screen.
3. Step 3: Type Code in ALL CAPS: Input the exact cheat code string in CAPITAL LETTERS (for example, ATM OF EREBUS).
4. Step 4: Press Enter to Execute: Hit Enter a second time. The resources or divine effects will register instantly, accompanied by an in-game confirmation sound.

Divine God Powers & Recharges

In standard Age of Mythology matches, god powers represent once-per-game ultimate abilities tied to your chosen pantheon. Using console directives rewires these fundamental restrictions:

• • Consecutive Ultimate Spells: By typing DIVINE INTERVENTION, you reset all cooling timers and exhausted power slots, allowing you to trigger repeated Lightning Storms or Bronze armor buffs in rapid succession.
• • Accessing Hostile Pantheons: Typing PANDORAS BOX rolls random powers from Egyptian, Greek, Norse, and Atlantean trees, granting Norse players access to Egyptian Locust Swarms or Greek Restoration spells.
• • Apocalyptic Base Destruction: The command WRATH OF THE GODS supplies the four most devastating tier-four offensive god powers simultaneously: Earthquake, Meteor Shower, Tornado, and Lightning Storm.

Secret Units: Lazer Bear & Flying Hippo

Ensemble Studios included celebrated Easter egg units in Age of Mythology that rank among the most famous cheat-spawned entities in RTS history:

1. The Canadian Lazer Bear (O CANADA): This unit appears as a grizzly bear draped in the Canadian national flag. It wields red laser vision with pinpoint accuracy, infinite ammunition, and substantial hit points, vaporizing enemy town halls in seconds.
2. The Flying Purple Hippo (WUV WOO): Summoned through WUV WOO, this winged mammalian unit soars over impassable mountains and waterways, dropping exploding hearts and rainbow blasts upon enemy defensive formations.
3. The Forkboy (TINES OF POWER): Spawns an oversized peasant armed with a giant pitchfork that possesses crushing siege attack values against reinforced stone gates.

Rapid Building & Unlimited Economy

Managing workers, gather rates, and drop-off points is vital in high-level strategy gameplay. Cheat commands allow you to bypass mundane gathering phases entirely:

• • The Triple-Resource Boost: Entering JUNK FOOD NIGHT, TROJAN HORSE FOR SALE, and ATM OF EREBUS in sequence grants 1,000 of every core physical resource. Tapping them three times provides a 3,000 resource buffer.
• • Instant Build Protocols: The command L33T M4X0R eliminates construction timers. When your villagers lay down foundations for a fortress or wonder, the building erects instantaneously. Research at armories and docks finishes in 0 seconds.
• • Favor Generation: Unlike physical resources, favor requires worship at temples or combat depending on culture. MOUNT OLYMPUS grants immediate 100 favor points for mythical unit massing.

Age of Mythology: Retold Compatibility

With the release of Age of Mythology: Retold on modern PC systems, many players question whether legacy console codes remain operational:

• Engine Overhaul: Retold modernizes the classic Bang! Engine architecture with advanced DirectX 12 rendering while preserving authentic gameplay logic. The developers explicitly retained the beloved classic cheat codes for single-player custom games.
• Custom Lobby Settings: Before launching a skirmish in Retold, verify that the match lobby setting Allow Cheats is checked. If cheats are disabled in lobby options, typing codes in chat will output plain text messages instead of triggering effects.
• Controller Support: Players utilizing gamepads on PC or Xbox consoles can open the virtual keyboard through the pause menu to submit cheat codes directly.

Steam Achievements & Campaign Impact

Understanding how cheat commands affect profile statistics and campaign completion badges ensures your record remains intact:

• Session Flagging: The moment a cheat code is executed via the chat box, the active game instance flags the scenario as cheated.
• Achievement Locking: Steam achievements tied to mission completion, unit production, or god power activations will NOT trigger during that session.
• Restoring Clean Play: Cheats do not permanently corrupt your campaign save files. To continue earning achievements, quit to the main menu and launch a fresh match without typing cheat codes.

Case Sensitivity & Input Troubleshooting

If your entered cheat phrase fails to execute, check these verified solutions:

• Uppercase Verification: Ensure your keyboard Caps Lock is enabled. The game engine requires uppercase cheat strings. Always enter ATM OF EREBUS or JUNK FOOD NIGHT.
• Single-Player Restriction: Cheats do not work in multiplayer or cooperative matches hosted on public servers. They function exclusively in solo campaigns or local custom matches.
• Spacebar Check: Ensure exactly one space separates each word in multi-word codes (e.g., JUNK FOOD NIGHT, not JUNKFOODNIGHT).
